2020 is the year in which I'm focusing on Exponential Value and Visibility. A huge part of being able to achieve this is transforming my vision and theme into actionable and achievable goals. A major challenge I deal with is potential clients that do not see the value in my work. You can follow my journey to live my vision here.
It took me three weeks to draft this and just 5 minutes to upload it.
If you want to see what my LinkedIn Profile looked like before, take a look at this post where I outline what I want to update and why.
Some of the updates I want to share:
A. Header Image: Now the image highlights the free resources people can download to get to know me better. This freebie provides a ton of value and I plan to change it quarterly based on the programs I am pushing. I put a lot of thought into the images I use. This one was captured on a trip and features an elephant headed towards a lake.
B. Headline: It is no longer as generic. I got this simple line which answers 'what I do' from a member of my CMT mastermind.
C. About: I LOVED my previous about section but this one is all about what I have achieved and why I want to serve other leaders. It is super easy to read and clear (I added emojis because I saw that they were a good way to highlight information. I am not a huge fan of them). I also include how to get in touch.
D. URL: Quick tip because I didn't mention this in my previous post about LinkedIn - make sure you customize your URL. Mine matches most of my social media handles and it super short so I could add it to a business card easily.
E. Experience ANM & Company: This is the section I focused on. I spent a lot of time looking for best practices in this area. I wanted to include as many keywords related to my work as possible. I also wanted to make sure my services were clear, who I've worked with before was highlighted and how to get in touch with me.
I do LinkedIn and CV/resume audits for my clients if it is an important component of their vision and will help them scale. If you are interested in learning more, get in touch.
