A (Re)Introduction and What to Expect this Quarter

I wanted to take a moment to (re)introduce myself.
Not because anything dramatic has changed, but because context does.
And leadership, like people, never exists in a vacuum.
Over the years, one thing I’ve learned is that being able to show up well, whether as a leader, partner, or collaborator, starts with clarity. Clarity about what you contribute, how you work, and what others can expect from you.
So, consider this a brief re-introduction.
I’m not just a coach.
While coaching is part of my work, it’s not the whole of it.
At the core of everything I do is an inquiry-based approach. Grounded in curiosity, reflection, and systems thinking. I don’t lead with answers. I lead with questions that help people see more clearly what they’re already navigating.
Curiosity, in my experience, is one of the most underutilized leadership skills we have.
I love this work deeply and often wish I’d had this kind of support when I was building and managing teams myself.
Over the last eight years, I’ve had the opportunity to:
work with some of the largest organizations in the world
partner with value-aligned leadership and consulting firms (The ones I’ve worked with the longest, I’ve even added to my profile)
support leaders across startups, government agencies, multinationals, and complex systems
Across all of it, one thing has stayed consistent.
Leaders don’t lead alone, and they can’t do this work depleted.
We don’t lead in vacuums. Leaders are always co-creating systems: with their teams, with HR and People partners, with culture, with context.
That’s why only working with individual leaders is never enough.
At the same time, leaders can’t sustainably support others if they don’t have the space to support themselves.
My work sits in that tension:
helping leaders care for themselves and
helping them see the broader system they’re shaping
I work with HR and internal teams, not around them, and not in place of them. I don’t replace internal capability; I help strengthen it.
I facilitated a performance management conversation about a year ago. I followed up with the client, and they replied via email:
“So, I would say largely we have sought to implement most of your recommendations. Thanks!”
That kind of follow-through matters to me because my goal is not a moment of insight, but something leaders can actually carry forward.
(If you’re curious, I can’t share about most of my work, but you can explore a few examples here: HR Leader Support Case Study and Team Case Study)
Eight years, and the message hasn’t really changed.
Sometimes it feels like I’m repeating myself.
But I’ve realized that what looks like repetition is often consistency.
My language evolves. The contexts shift. The core remains steady.
That’s part of why I wanted to re-introduce myself, especially on this platform. Another thing I’ve learned over time? Most people don’t actually read your profile. Lol.
So instead, I try to demonstrate my value through how I show up and the spaces I create.
Beyond paid work, I build the containers I wish I’d had.
Outside of client work, I intentionally create spaces for high-quality thinking and conversation. The kind I wish I’d had earlier in my leadership journey.
☕ The Tea
Three editions in, and this has quickly become one of my favorite spaces. It’s where I think out loud, reflect more personally (and with personality), and share opportunities without the performance pressure of social media.

🔁 #PeopleBeforeStrategy Roundtables
These live conversations continue to be a core part of my work. They’re reflective, facilitated, and grounded in real leadership complexity, not performative expertise.
More here.
💬 #IAmRemarkable Workshops
Still one of my favorite things to host because at the core of a psychologically safe team are individuals who are ‘identity safe.’ I regularly facilitate these with teams and communities, and you can also apply to have me host a free session for your group.

Trying something new (for me) this quarter.
I don’t usually host ‘open’ workshops beyond what I've already mentioned above.
In fact, I haven’t done anything like this publicly in years.
But this quarter, I realized I had the capacity and the desire to open the door a bit.
Open Doors Conversations: Leadership Labs
These are one-time, live Leadership Labs adapted from work I usually do inside organizations.
They are:
not webinars
not typical ‘trainings’
not performative
They’re thinking spaces.
Each Lab is designed to help leaders step back, see their context more clearly, and leave with a diagnostic or framework they can actually reuse.
If you’re navigating complexity and want clarity, not quick fixes, you’re very welcome to join.
This quarter’s Labs:
Winning Company Culture: A Diagnostic Lens for Leaders - A clearer way to see where culture is actually breaking down. This draws directly from what I’ve been seeing with clients lately.
From Goals to Systems: An Anytime Strategic Reset for Leaders - A systems-based way to rethink goals that have stalled. This is work I’ve been sitting with for a while.
Connections to Conversions: A Strategic LinkedIn Framework for Service Providers - A sustainable way to use LinkedIn without it taking over your life. I’ve been asked to offer this publicly again, so I’m trying it once.
Replays will be available for those who want to go deeper.
Looking ahead, with gratitude.
I’m genuinely looking forward to this year.
Last year was full of thoughtful conversations and meaningful work (I shared reflections in my Q4 AMA here).
My work continues to grow through relationships and referrals.
If you’ve found value in these reflections, conversations, or spaces, thank you. And if my name comes to mind for leadership coaching, culture-building facilitation, instructional design, or advisory work, I’m always grateful for the connection.
However, we cross paths next. Thank you for being here.
Join the next free monthly Roundtable designed for leaders who understand that businesses are people. Each session is a live, facilitated space where decision-makers, team leads, and people professionals connect, learn, and grow together. Register here.
Leaders aren't born; they're made.
This 5-minute assessment will help you understand what leadership stage you're currently in so you can determine your next steps.
